Clipper Young America At Night – 2019 lutz roland lehn Digital Painting, Digital Art 9000 x 6000 Pixel Inspiriert vom großen amerikanischen Marinemaler John Stobart wollte ich schon immer ein Bild aus der Vergangenheit machen, wo der Star ein Klipperschiff ist. Dieses Schiff segelte keinen Rekord, war aber dennoch eines der schnellsten Schiffe seiner Zeit. Jeder, der schon einmal gesegelt ist, weiß, wie unglaublich schnell die Geschwindigkeit von 18 – 22 Knoten ist. Leider gibt es nur noch einen Original Clipper…

One of my favorite painters is John Atkinson Grimshaw, also known as the Moonlight Painter. His atmospheric pictures and our last trip to Venice once inspected me in his stalk to make a venetian scene.
